Everything Bagel Stuffed Bite
A simple, savory, and cheesy snack perfect for parties or brunch!
Preparation
- Preheat and Prep: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a standard baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Prepare Filling: In a small bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and the shredded cheddar (if using). Mix until well combined.
- Prep Biscuits: Separate the biscuits. If using large biscuits, it’s helpful to split each one horizontally into two thinner rounds (you’ll have 16 total).
Assembly & Baking
- Fill the Dough: Place about 1/2 to 1 teaspoon of the cream cheese mixture in the center of each biscuit round.
- Form Balls: Pinch the edges of the dough together over the filling, sealing the cheese inside to form a small ball. Roll gently between your palms to smooth the seams.
- Coat Bites: Place the melted butter in a small bowl and the Everything Bagel Seasoning in a separate shallow dish.
- Dip and Season: Dip each dough ball into the melted butter, ensuring it is lightly coated, and then immediately roll it in the Everything Bagel Seasoning until fully covered.
- Bake: Place the coated bites seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 15 to 20 minutes, or until the bites are golden brown and the biscuit dough is cooked through.
- Serve: Let them cool for a few minutes before serving (the cheese inside will be very hot!).
Tips
- For extra flavor in the filling, add a pinch of chives or garlic powder to the cream cheese mixture.
- These are best served warm, but you can reheat leftovers in a toaster oven.
