Garlic Butter Baked Scallops

Ingredients

 

1 lb sea scallops (patted dry)

 

4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted

 

3 cloves garlic, minced

 

2 tbsp fresh lemon juice

 

½ tsp paprika

 

Salt and black pepper, to taste

 

¼ cup breadcrumbs

 

2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese

 

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

 

Lemon wedges (for serving)

 

Instructions

 

Preheat Oven – Set oven to 400°F (200°C).

Prepare Scallops – Place scallops in a lightly greased baking dish.

Make Sauce – In a bowl, combine melted butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, paprika, salt, and pepper.

Coat Scallops – Pour the garlic butter mixture over scallops.

Add Topping – Sprinkle breadcrumbs and Parmesan evenly on top.

Bake – Cook for 12–15 minutes until scallops are opaque and the topping turns golden brown.

Serve – Garnish with parsley and serve hot with lemon wedges.
