Here’s a quick and easy recipe for Air Fryer Apple Chips with Cinnamon Sugar — crispy, sweet, and perfect for snacking!
Ingredients:
2 apples (Fuji, Honeycrisp, or Gala work great)
1 tsp cinnamon
1–2 tsp sugar (adjust to taste)
Optional: a spritz of lemon juice to prevent browning
Instructions:
Slice apples very thinly (1/8-inch or thinner) using a mandoline or sharp knife. Remove seeds. Leave the peel on.
Optional: Lightly spritz or toss slices with lemon juice if you want to prevent browning.
Mix cinnamon and sugar in a small bowl.
Lightly sprinkle both sides of the apple slices with the cinnamon sugar mix.
Preheat air fryer to 300°F (150°C) if your model requires it.
Place apple slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket — do not overlap.
Air fry for 15–20 minutes, flipping halfway through. Watch closely near the end — they crisp as they cool!
Remove and let cool on a wire rack or plate — chips will continue to crisp up as they sit.
Tips:
For max crispiness, slice as thinly and evenly as possible.
You may need to do this in batches depending on your air fryer size.
