Strawberry Bliss Bars
Ingredients:
2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
1 cup sugar
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup sour cream
1 cup fresh strawberries, diced
Instructions:
Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9×13 inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving some overhang for easy removal.
Mix Dry Ingredients:
In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
Cream Butter and Sugar:
In a large bowl, use an electric mixer to cream the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy, about 3-4 minutes.
Add Eggs and Vanilla:
Beat in the eggs one at a time, then mix in the vanilla extract.
Combine with Dry Ingredients:
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, alternating with the sour cream, starting and ending with the flour mixture.
Fold in Strawberries:
Gently fold in the diced strawberries.
Bake:
Spread the batter evenly into the prepared pan. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Cool and Serve:
Allow the bars to cool in the pan on a wire rack. Once cool, use the parchment paper to lift the bars out of the pan. Cut into squares and serve.
