Instructions

  1. 1. **Prep the Potatoes:** Wash the sweet potatoes well under running water and pat them completely dry with a paper towel.
  2. 2. **Vent:** Using the tines of a fork, **poke holes** all over the potatoes (about 8-10 times per potato). This allows steam to escape and prevents them from bursting in the microwave.
  3. 3. **Season:** Pour a small amount of olive oil over the potatoes and rub it in completely, covering the skin. Add salt and pepper liberally to the outside of the potatoes for flavor.
