πŸ§„ Asparagus Stuffed Chicken Breast

Juicy, flavorful, and healthy β€” a low-carb dinner you’ll make again and again!

πŸ“ Ingredients:

4 large chicken breasts – Boneless and skinless; these will be butterflied and stuffed.

Salt and pepper, to taste – Essential seasoning to enhance all flavors.

1 teaspoon garlic powder – Adds depth and a mild kick.

1 teaspoon paprika – Brings a smoky note and beautiful color.

12 asparagus spears, ends trimmed – Crisp, fresh, and perfect for stuffing.

Optional (but highly recommended) additions:

4 slices mozzarella or provolone cheese – Melts beautifully inside the chicken.

1 tablespoon olive oil – For searing and keeping the chicken juicy.

Toothpicks – To secure the stuffed chicken breasts while cooking.

—

πŸ”ͺ Instructions:

1. Prep the Chicken:

Preheat oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C).

Slice each chicken breast lengthwise to create a pocket β€” don’t cut all the way through.

Season both sides of the chicken and the inside with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.

2. Stuff the Chicken:

Place 3 asparagus spears and 1 slice of cheese (if using) inside each breast.

Fold the chicken over the filling and secure with toothpicks.

3. Sear for Flavor:

Heat olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat.

Sear each chicken breast for 2–3 minutes on each side until golden brown.

4. Bake to Finish:

Transfer the skillet to the oven (or use a baking dish if needed).

Bake for 15–20 minutes, or until the chicken reaches an internal temp of 165Β°F (74Β°C).

—

πŸ’‘ Pro Tips:

Don’t overstuff β€” the chicken should close easily.

Use a meat mallet if the breasts are too thick, to ensure even cooking.

Add sun-dried tomatoes or spinach for extra flavor in the stuffing.

🍽 Serving Suggestions:

Serve with roasted baby potatoes, mashed cauliflower, or a fresh garden salad.

Drizzle with lemon butter or balsamic glaze for an elevated

touch
