Crispy Roasted Cauliflower – A Delicious Meat Alternative

Ingredients:

• 1 large head of cauliflower, cut into florets

• 3 tbsp olive oil

• ½ cup breadcrumbs (panko for extra crispiness)

• ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional for extra flavor)

• 1 tsp garlic powder

• 1 tsp smoked paprika

• ½ tsp salt

• ½ tsp black pepper

• ½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional for heat)

• 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

• 1 tbsp lemon juice (for a fresh finish)

Instructions:

1. Preheat Oven: Set to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2. Prepare Cauliflower: Wash, dry, and cut cauliflower into bite-sized florets.

3. Season: In a large bowl, toss cauliflower with olive oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.

4. Coat with Crunch: Add breadcrumbs and Parmesan cheese (if using), tossing to coat evenly.

5. Roast: Spread florets in a single layer on the baking sheet. Bake for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.

6. Finish & Serve: Sprinkle with fresh parsley and a squeeze of lemon juice. Serve hot as a side dish or a meat substitute.
