INGREDIENTS
1 lb ground chicken
1 tbsp olive oil
1/2 onion, finely diced
1 bell pepper, finely diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
Salt and pepper, to taste
1/4 cup chicken broth
1/4 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
4 burger buns, toasted
DIRECTIONS
Sauté Veggies: In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add onion and bell pepper, cooking until softened, about 3-4 minutes. Add garlic and sauté for another minute.
Cook Chicken: Add ground chicken to the skillet, breaking it up with a spatula. Season with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper. Cook until chicken is no longer pink, about 5-7 minutes.
Add Broth and Cream: Stir in chicken broth and heavy cream, simmering for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.
Melt Cheese: Sprinkle shredded cheddar and mozzarella into the skillet, stirring until melted and creamy.
Assemble Sloppy Joes: Spoon the Cajun chicken mixture onto toasted burger buns. Serve hot and enjoy the spicy, cheesy goodness!
