Easy Banana Pudding is a classic and delicious dessert that’s simple to make and perfect for any occasion. This version uses a few basic ingredients to create a creamy, comforting treat. Here’s a quick and easy recipe for making Banana Pudding:
Easy Banana Pudding Recipe
Ingredients:
1 box instant vanilla pudding mix (3.4 oz)

2 cups cold milk

1 can sweetened condensed milk (14 oz)

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 bag vanilla wafer cookies (around 11 oz)

4-5 ripe bananas, sliced

Whipped cream (or whipped topping) for garnish

Instructions:
1. Prepare the Pudding:
In a large bowl, whisk together the instant vanilla pudding mix and cold milk. Stir for about 2 minutes until the pudding thickens.

Add the sweetened condensed milk

and vanilla extract to the pudding and whisk until fully combined. Set aside to firm up slightly (about 5 minutes).

2. Layer the Pudding:
In a large serving dish (a 9×9-inch dish or a trifle dish works well), start by placing a layer of vanilla wafer cookies at the bottom.

Add a layer of banana slices on top of the cookies.

Spoon half of the pudding mixture over the bananas and cookies, spreading it evenly.

Repeat the layers: add another layer of vanilla wafer cookies, then a layer of banana slices, and top with the remaining pudding mixture.

3. Chill the Dessert:
Once assembled, cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2-3 hours (or overnight) to allow the flavors to meld and the dessert to set.

4. Serve:
Before serving, top the pudding with a generous layer of whipped cream or whipped topping.

You can also garnish with extra vanilla wafer cookies or banana slices on top for added decoration.

Tips:
Ripeness of Bananas: Use ripe, but not overripe, bananas for the best texture and sweetness.

Make it Your Own: Add a handful of chopped nuts (like pecans or walnuts) for a bit of crunch or even drizzle some caramel sauce over the whipped cream for extra flavor.

Make Ahead: This dessert tastes even better if it sits overnight, as the cookies absorb some of the pudding and become soft, making it even creamier.

This Easy Banana Pudding is a family favorite and so simple to put together. The creamy pudding, fresh bananas, and vanilla wafers create a delicious combination that’s sure to be a hit at any gathering. Enjoy!
