If you love the rich, savory flavors of French onion soup 🧅🍲, you’ll love this French Onion Meatloaf with Melted Swiss Cheese 🧀🍖! This dish takes classic meatloaf to the next level by infusing it with caramelized onions, onion soup mix, and gooey Swiss cheese. It’s juicy, flavorful, and topped with melty cheese and golden onions for the perfect comfort food experience. Serve it with mashed potatoes 🥔 or roasted veggies 🥦🥕 for a hearty meal that will have everyone coming back for seconds! 😋🔥

Ingredients:
1 ½ lbs ground beef
1 packet (1 oz) onion soup mix
½ cup breadcrumbs
¼ cup milk
1 egg
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
½ teaspoon black pepper
½ teaspoon garlic powder
1 cup caramelized onions (about 2 onions, sliced and cooked until golden)
1 cup shredded Swiss cheese (divided)

Instructions:
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
Mix ground beef, onion soup mix, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, Worcestershire sauce, black pepper, and garlic powder in a bowl until well combined.
Fold in half of the caramelized onions and ½ cup shredded Swiss cheese.
Shape into a loaf and place in a greased baking dish or loaf pan.
Bake for 40-45 minutes or until cooked through (internal temp of 160°F).
Top with remaining caramelized onions and Swiss cheese. Bake for another 5 minutes until cheese melts.
Rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
Note 📝: For extra flavor, try using a mix of ground beef and ground pork. You can also add a splash of beef broth to keep the meatloaf extra juicy. Want a crispy topping? Broil for 2-3 minutes after adding the cheese! 🔥🧀😋

Would you serve this with mashed potatoes or something else? 😋
